Anna Jimenez Oliveras

Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She has always been involved in sports, taking Judo, Gymnastics and Swimming to competitive levels. Active in outdoor clubs since she was a young child thru to young adulthood, she has hiked and rock climbed routes all over the Pirenees Mountains. A fitness advocate and outdoor lover she has always believed in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

In 2003, Anna left her corporate sales job to have her first baby. Soon after she moving to the United States her second baby was born. Suffering from post partum depression she was able to heal herself through holistic medicine, nutritional diet changes and exercise, from that experience she decided to become a Personal Trainer, hoping to help other people lead and maintain an optimal state of health.

Anna is certified with the “Aerobic and Fitness Association of America” in Personal Training, Group Training, and has kept her training skills up by certifying in Kickboxing, Core and is also CPR certified. Anna has helped people with osteoporosis, obesity, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, change their lifestyles, and improve their health. She designs specific exercise programs, to meet her client’s goals. She specializes in high energy and high intensity, workouts for people that are looking for a challenge. She sees herself as a partner in her clients’ goals and offers nutritional, over-all health guidance and round-the-clock support.

Anna stays current with continued education, whether it is a new fitness classe, the last strength training move, or taking courses at BCC. Anna’s personal training philosophy is to help her clients not only reach their goals but to provide sufficient education for her clients to understand the why and how of their routine and how to keep going on their own.
